Through many centuries of existence, mankind had a myriad of questions, most of them unanswered.
Fortunately, that's not the case here. These are the most common questions people ask when looking for support, all answered!
This one is easy: Click here and let the magic happen. Zvarri!
You can either ask her with +help
or if you're too shy for it, check the Commands Page. You can see detailed info on every command using +help
command
She probably ran out of batteries and needs some winding. Join our server and check #information channel (alternatively you can check Pollux's Twitter), if there's nothing there relating to your issue, contact support in any of both.
Fear not! The Dashboard is the place where you can fix everything wrong with your life. Except for broken hearts...
Yes you get! You can support the project in a wide range of ways: PayPal, Patreon, our own Cash Shop, and even PIX.
We've already had many other donation methods like crypto, wiretransfer and even cash. Contact us directly if you're feeling generously exotic.
We do not accept Activision stocks as donation.
Maybe... we have a Subreddit where everyone can post anything freely, including suggestions of ideas of stuff. Why Rreddit? Because it is easier to go through than a Discord channel + it has a nice upvoting and commenting system.
Pollux has been taught several languages by natives of each one. She currently speaks all of these:
Move your cursor over a flag to see the command used to enable the language
Short answer: No.
Long answer: Nope.
Pollux open-sourced code is for reference purposes only and is not meant for self-hosting. Please do not insist.
There is. You can add the beta by just copying Pollux's invite and pasting the Beta's ID on it. Be advised that the Beta is very unstable and has a separate database from the live version which is constantly destroyed, nplxed, burnt, and wiped. Not fun.
Event information is all in our Events Page
Profile customisation can be done entirely via Dashboard, but you can also use commands to change it from Discord:+personaltxt
+background
+favcolor
+tagline
Flairs, Stickers and Medals can only be equipped from the Dashboard
You can get Lootboxes from drops. Lootbox drops are enabled by default in your server as she joins, unless you configured otherwise. She will drop a box at random from time to time. Every message has an approximated 0.1% chance of dropping one. Using bots or macros to force drops is not allowed and we log and store every message that triggers a drop, with all information about the server, channel, and users participating in the raffle. If we deem that certain drops are not legitimate we may take action at our discretion to penalise the users involved.
Penalties may include but are not limited to:
+open lootbox [tier]
Calm down, one thing at a time. Blackjack is not rigged, it is a gambling game based solely in RNG, with just a bit of skill involved. Several decks were added to avoid card counting, one popular technique to outplay the dealer in irl Blackjack. Pollux does not use any exotic rules. You probably should take a look at this.
Rubines are bright-pink gemstones made of special hexagonal scalenohedrons of Al₂O₃:Cr, used for pretty much everything!
They're the main Currency used by Pollux for all sorts of stuff. Buying backgrounds, medals, spending on marriage affairs, as well paying for crafting services.
You can get rubines with daily bonuses (+daily
) which increase with your streak! Some minigames like gambling ones can give you a chance to increase your balance. Lootboxes often contain a bunch of them inside, and duplicate items grant you some too.
Depends- No- No- No- and Yes.
Trading Rubines directly to other users has been heavily exploited previously, so it was removed in favor of the User Marketplace. Donators and Partners can still transfer them directly as they're easier to keep our eyes on.
Jades are a crafting material, not a currency. So they aren't tradeable.
Sapphires are premium currency, and cannot be traded directly. But can be used as payment in the User Marketplace.
Boxes can be traded normally, as long as they have the "tradeable" flag. Gift boxes and Event boxes cannot be traded.
Every trade is logged and can be consulted afterwards. If you run in any trouble with them, please contact support.
Yes. You should first pack them as a gift, which will cost you some Rubines and Jades. Alternatively you can sell them at the Marketplace if you're exchanging them for Rubines or Sapphires.
Sapphires can be obtained in a variety of ways:
No as that completely defeats the purpose of saving Rubines to afford them. And also for QA reasons we're slowing down on user submitted content.
BUT, you can still suggest them at the subreddit. Every cosmetic suggestion must contain source/artist information and a official link to their page.
Some donation tiers allow you to have one Background of your choice to be released into the shop. It will remain as a XR for as long as you are a supporter. Afterwards it will be added to the 'Community Items'
Regret your sins and seek redemption.
If you think you've been Blacklisted by mistake, or if you think you're worthy of a second chance, stop by our server under #blacklist-appeals channel.
Ask someone to try +whyblacklisted [@yourself]
to see why were you blacklisted.
Head to our Dashboard, at Servers > Manage > Global Options set the "Enable Global Prefix" option to OFF and then save.
Boosterpacks are the new source of Stickers, which used to come singly in Lootboxes. Boosters will stack into a specific pocket in your Inventory dedicated to them. You can access this inventory via two ways:+inventory
+boosterpack
To open directly a specific pack you can use the full command:+boosterpack open [Sticker Series ID]
Boosterpacks contains 2 random stickers of any rarity, regardless of what rarity was the box you got it from was, boosterpacks themselves have rarity tiers of their own (as shown below) . Duped stickers don't stack and currently aren't exchanged for Rubines, if you got all dupes, that's just too bad. An exchange-for-jades thingy will be added as an Anti-Frustration-Feature(TM) later on.
Boosterpacks cannot be traded or given away
You can see all stickers from every pack here
Lovepoints are still being introduced, some commands will award you with them, and other commands will interact with your Lovepoints or change behaviour depending on your current amount of LP.
